The pet site PetSmart.com has listed their "Top 10 Dog Names".

The top 10 dog names in the U.S. and Britain have been remarkably constant over the last decade or so. Starting with the most popular, these names are:

They stated that the name Snoopy (the dog made famous by Charles Schultz's popular comic strip "Peanuts") was not very high up in the dog list. But surprise, they did find it in the top 10 names for cats!
