DOES YOUR DOG GET CARSICK?

Dogs can get carsick for variious reasons. The most likely will be because your dog has not had enough experience riding in the car. If you only take them out to the Vet, they can think that any car ride is going to result in a visit to the vet and anxiety or fear can cause carsickness.

If you want your dog to enjoy riding in the car and not normally have bouts of carsickness, take them for a ride to the park or let them go with you when you go some place dogs are allowed. Begin as a pup or young dog and take them for rides using kennels or a leash to keep them from causing a wreck while you drive.

Dogs will out grow being carsick if they are routinley taken out for fun rides in the car. If carsickness persists after you have tried to get them used to riding in the car check with the Vet for possible medications.
