About the Bedlington Terrier
This is a breed of dog and it is one of the many breeds of terriers. The Bedlington is named after a mining town of Bedlington, Northumberland in North East England.

They started out with the name Rothbury Terrier afer a town like Bedlington. The Rothburys were bredby gypsies in the Rothbury Forest near the border with Scotland. The first Bedlington Terrier Club was formed in 1877.

This dog is strong, lithe, graceful and built for speed. The have the appearance of a lamb. They were originally bred for hunting.
