About the Coton De Tulear
This is a small breed of dog. the Coton's ancestors were thought to have come fromMadagascar in the 16th century and are named after the port city of Tulear. They are thought to be related to the Bichon family of dogs. This dog is friendly and is increasing in popularity but is not well known among the general population.

The Coton is playful, affectionate and intelligent. They are generally a healthy breed. There are no genetic diseases.
